It is one of numerous plant species of the piperaceae family and the genus Peperomia, from the Americas. This peperómia grows to 25-35cm in height and width, has green round coriaceous leaves like shells. Its flowers appear as inflorescences on narrow peaks up to 12cm long.

Too much indirect light. Tolerates up to 2 hours of direct sun in the morning or late afternoon, especially during winter.
We suggest moderate watering. Always let the earth dry completely between waterings, but avoid leaving the land dry for a long time, especially during the summer. Never leave excess water draining from the pot at the bottom of it.
Clean the leaves periodically with damp cloth, or wash the leaves when it is time to water.
