Pilea peperomioids

The popular saying holds that a Norwegian missionary, Agnar Espegren, took plant cuts home in the 1940s, and shared it with friends and family. These plants were scattered throughout Scandinavia, and eventually the world, through people who presented friends with the cuts. It is originally from China and can reach more than 30cm tall.

Too much indirect light. Tolerates up to 2 hours of direct sun in the morning or late afternoon, especially during winter.
We suggest moderate watering. Always allow the earth to dry at least in half between waterings, but avoid leaving the land dry for a long time, especially during the summer. Never leave excess water draining from the pot at the bottom of it.
Clean the leaves periodically with damp cloth, or wash the leaves when it is time to water. The substrate should be well draining.
